The Newport Beach Film Festival Calls
The Newport Beach Film Festival will spotlight over 350 films from around the world including features, shorts, documentaries, and animation that will compete for a series of Jury and Audience Awards. In addition to film screenings, the Festival will host several premiere galas, yacht parties, and question and answer sessions with filmmakers. The event is expected to attract more than 40,000 film devotees

Glimz.net Calls

Since 2003, Glimz.net (www.glimz.net) is the Scandinavian digital distributor for short and documentary quality films.
Glimz.net aims to spread innovative quality short films on the Internet through video-on-demand, and further channels (such as broadcast TV).

 There is no cost. The service is completely free to use for film producers and creators wishing to promote their works.
The rights owner selects for which territories and channels s/he submits rights to Glimz.net.
As Glimz.net is a digital distributor, a share of the payment is always channeled back to the rights owner (50%).

Glimz.net accepts copyrighted, professionally produced films. Submissions should be between 1 and 70 minutes. Most formats are welcome.
Foreign language works should preferrably be subtitled in English or some of the other main world languages.

SHORT FILMS WANTED for TV SHOW Calls

We're producing a cable TV show airing short films from independent filmmakers around the world. We're looking for action, horror, thriller, animation, SciFi, fantasy and suspense short films to air on public access television in Atlanta, GA. MovieScreams, is a half-hour cable TV show that broadcasts short films. We give filmmakers the opportunity to show their films to over 140,000 households through out the Atlanta metropolitan area. This is a non-commercial screening on public access television.


No promo videos or home movies. Submission is free. There is no entry fee. Films are accepted on an ongoing basis. Submissions must be under 25 minutes. All entries must be submitted either on DVD or mini-DV tape (NTSC format). Foreign language work must be dubbed or subtitled in English. We cannot accept PAL. Please ensure that all films are complete and working before submitting.
