Description: At World of Wonder we are working on a project called Takeover TV for
Channel 4's Entertainment Pay Channel. Adam and Joe are presenting this new series to be broadcast later this year showing the best of people's video and filmic work - it could range from the slick to the raw - from the darkly
comic to the slapstick hilarious. We want spoofs, rants, the funny, angry,
sideways slices of life. Preferably quirky and innovative but the subjects can be serious, sad, silly - whatever. Genre is completely flexible – a spoof doc, or a short story or a piece of animation....the possibilities are endless, provided that there is an element of humour. We'd like to get the word out to up and coming people who don't have a track record as such, in order to give them exposure.
The show has acted as a springboard in the past for acts such as Graham
Norton, Armstrong and Miller, Adam and Joe as well as Edgar Wright, the
director of 'SPACED' and various music video producers.
5 minutes is the maximum length of each clip - there is no minimum. We can
also show extracts of longer work.
The submissions can be on any format. For more details on how to submit
