Since it's first day streaming on the Net in April of '98, BijouFlix has an "open doors" policy towards moviemakers. That means: no restrictions on format or content. We are looking for interesting movies, regardless of the source, genre, style, length, budget or period, past or present. If you are the legal owner of your movie and its source elements, your work is welcome for consideration here, no charge, for possible videostreaming and beyond.

Non-studio distribution is not exactly glam work for the faint-hearted these days. Though these are exciting times for moviemakers, the revolution to easily-accessible alternative cinema has yet to catch up with the wondrous creative advances. There is a wide gulf between the creative works deserving distribution and the way for an audience to easily find them.
Our mission at BijouFlix is to help close those gaps. Note we said 'help,' because no one person or organization (or especially web site!) is going to change the tragic realities of distribution today in America and the rest of the world overnight. Rather, piece by piece, with many working independently but together, alternative mechanisms are created and self-sustained.
